What time will the band arrive at the venue?

The band will aim to arrive at least two hours before the performance to carry out a thorough sound check of all equipment and PA system. An earlier arrival time may be more appropriate for weddings or other private functions. Details can be agreed when booking.

How long do you take to set up?

An approximate time-scale of one hour is required to set up the equipment and PA system.

What are your playing times?

The performance consists of 2x45 minute sets, or 3x30 minute sets if required. Additional costs apply for extra performances.

What time do you start?

To suit most functions, the performance will begin at 9:00pm, however this is flexible and can be negotiates during booking.

Can you play music between sets?

A laptop based "disco" is available for your function if required at an additional cost.  You can select the tracks you want played from an extensive list of music or state your preferred music style for the evening. We are also happy to receive requests during the evening. We can play music before and between our sets.  Please state your preference when you book.

Can the band play outside?

The band is available to perform outdoors, weather permitting.  The following conditions apply to any outdoor performances:

The band will not perform outdoors in wet or windy conditions or if the location is considered unsuitable from a safety perspective.

It is up to you to ensure you have an alternative indoor venue arranged for the performance.  In the event of the above conditions, the band will only perform at the alternative venue.

The band requires two separate 13-amp power points.

You must ensure that the power points available for an outside performance are tested and fit for purpose.  On arrival, if we have any cause for concern regarding usage of the available power points, then we reserve the right to opt for your chosen pre-arranged alternative venue, or to cancel the performance.

We reserve the right not to perform outdoors based on a safety assessment of weather conditions, electrical safety and site location.  This is non-negotiable and we will happily perform at the alternative venue.

Do you require a stage?

A designated performance area sufficient to accommodate a five-piece band is essential to ensure audience enjoyment.  The area could be in the form of a stage, a raised area or sufficient floor space.

Are we allowed to come up and sing / interact with the band?

Audience participation must remain on the dance floor during the performance and under no circumstances should any of your party invade the stage / performance area at any time.

Top of our list is public safety, we want all members of your party to enjoy the evening and not add risk to themselves or indeed band members by trying to “interact” with the band. All equipment used for the performance is professional and expensive.  Any damage caused by any member of your party MUST be paid for.

If you would like a member of your party to sing with the band, then this will have to be discussed and agreed with a member of the band prior to booking.

What are your power requirements?

We will need 2 independent 13 amp sockets.

What PA system do you use?

The band uses a high quality 7KW PA system, this includes a 20 channel mixing desk,

2 bass bins and four mid range / high frequency speakers. For extra safety, the speakers are

mechanically secured by binding posts.

Is your eqipment PAT tested?

All our equipment is PAT tested to comply with the latest safety regulations, a certificate is

available on request.

Do you have public liability insurance?

We have full public liability insurance up to 10 million pounds. Documentation is available on request.
